While sitting front row during Paris Fashion Week is nothing new, the actress was a VIP guest at the Dior Spring 2025 show yesterday. “It’s always great to meet my Dior family,” said Taylor-Joy, a spokesperson for the brand. The star met with Askew while viewing designer Maria Grazia Chiuri’s new collection and gave us her comments after the show. “I loved the performance element of it — not only the models, but the artist [Sag Napoli], who performed with a bow and arrow,” Taylor-Joy said, “It really inspired me to try it out!”
We definitely want to see Taylor-Joy practice her aim in her Fashion Week look. For the show, the actor wore a stunning Dior dress, which featured an embroidered white knit top and white lace skirt. “The weather is so unpredictable, I just try to adapt to it somehow,” Taylor-Joy said. She also said she doesn’t know if it will be sunny or rainy. “So, super summery crochet look with tough boots and a trench coat!” Taylor-Joy, who is known for wearing everything from thigh-high boots to Tabis boots, naturally gravitated to the Dior show shoes. “I love shoes,” she said. “I will never own these, and if I could walk in them forever, these would be my shoes. I think I could do that in the shoes I’m wearing today.”
Her tousled hair, smokey eyes and a subtle lipstick completed her look. “We tried to keep it nude and matte,” Taylor-Joy said of the lip color. (In case you’re wondering, it’s Dior’s beige couture.)
However, Taylor-Joy’s show involves much more than just fashion and beauty. “I always try to do something different that I haven’t done before,” the star said of her Paris show. “I consider myself lucky to have the opportunity to come to Paris to work with Dior and I always try to get to know Paris better, after all,” she said. “I’m actually about to start shooting ‘The Sacrifice’,” she added. “It’s Romain Gavras’ film and I’m so excited to bring it to life. We shot in some incredible locations and the script is so deep and funny. I can’t wait to shoot it and share it with everyone.” Okay. We’ll make popcorn on the day of the premiere.
