There’s nothing better than an unexpected front row guest during Fashion Week, as Rob Lowe took charge of the Stella McCartney Spring 2025 show in Paris. Lowe attended McCartney’s event alongside the likes of Juliette Binoche, Greta Gerwig, Natalie Portman, Tom Daley, Maria Sharapova and Lily Gladstone. At the open-air show, attendees admired marshmallow jackets, gauzy draped dresses and streetwear-inspired ensembles.
Lowe chose a gray-blue double-breasted suit with pointed lapels and even pointed shoulders. His baggy trousers had a thick silver chain dangling down his leg. The actor wore a pair of spotless white tennis shoes and kept the look casual. But what’s underneath his suit sparks some curiosity: a white tank top with the words “About the Fucking Time!” written on it.
The heady phrase — which also graced the guest seats — came about thanks to McCartney’s partnership with PETA. As my colleague Mark Holgate writes, “He and PETA used the phrase to highlight their new campaign around animal welfare, or the lack of it.” Animals.
But, we have to say about Rob Lowe’s arrival to the front row: it’s about f**king time!
