Askume Shanghai, Sept 10 – The China Cyber Security Association on Tuesday announced a list of 62 apps, including JD.com (9618.HK) and Alibaba (9988.HK) , that do not comply with the personal data collection and use compliance agreement.
Issues such as excessive collection of personal information, excessive use of permissions, and inconvenient account logouts have been addressed as part of the process, and compliant versions of the apps are now available on the App Store, the association said in a statement.
