Askume SILVERSTONE, UK, Sept 10 – Formula One star designer Adrian Newey will join Aston Martin as technical partner on March 1 next year and will also become Silverstone’s new chief executive, it was announced on Tuesday.
Newey, 65, said in May he would leave champions Red Bull to find a new challenge.
The Briton has designed cars that have won 25 drivers and constructors titles for Williams, McLaren and Red Bull. His 2023 Red Bull Racing car is the most dominant in the sport’s history with 21 wins in 22 races.
