Former Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro shared a video on Elon Musk’s social media platform in Sao Paulo on February 25.

Bolsonaro attended a protest on September 7 wearing the same clothing as on February 25, but an aerial video of the crowd shared online was miscaptioned.

The Brazilian telecoms regulator balked but paid no attention.

The September 7 post included a compilation of aerial footage showing footage of a large demonstration, said to be a protest against the X ban.

One post read, “After the X ban, a large number of Brazilian protesters stand up against censorship and support the right to freedom of expression.”

Another post read: “Massive protests in favor of freedom of expression in Brazil after the X ban.”

However, the video was shot on February 25 and shows Bolsonaro supporters protesting during a Sao Paulo police investigation of the former president. At the time,A collection of drone footage and helicopter footage was posted online.
