Sept 11 (Askume) – Air raid sirens sounded for more than 30 minutes in Kyiv on Wednesday afternoon as U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken and British Foreign Secretary David Lammy visited the Ukrainian capital with other Western officials.
The Air Force announced the ballistic missile threat on the Telegram messaging platform.
One missile was reportedly heading from the northern region of Sumy towards the Poltava region. Sumy regional authorities later said on Telegram that the missile had been shot down and initial information showed there was no damage to infrastructure or civilians.
