Sept 11 (Askume) – Taylor Swift’s black-and-white video for “Fortnite”, a collaboration with Post Malone, won the top honor of the year at the MTV Video Music Awards on Wednesday.

The video for “Two Weeks” was released in April as the first single from Swift’s album “The Tortured Poet’s Department.” The video features Swift in a deserted hospital, an environment she said reflected what she had in mind when she wrote the song “Tortured Poet.”

“When you watch this video, it looks so sad, but it’s actually the funniest video ever,” Swift said while accepting the Man on the Moon statue.

After each shoot, she would hear people cheering in the studio.

“That guy is my boyfriend, Travis,” she said, referring to Kansas City Chiefs player Travis Kelce.

“Everything he touches becomes joy, fun and magic,” she said. “I want to thank him for adding this to this shoot.”

Earlier, when “Fortnite” won the award for best collaboration, Swift praised Malone as “genius” and “always humble.”

“It took me a long time to get him to stop calling me ma’am,” she said, standing next to Malone on stage at the UBS Arena outside New York City.

Malone responded to the compliment by calling superstar Swift “absolutely one of the kindest, most talented people I’ve ever had the pleasure of knowing.”

Malone said he saw Swift on set directing her “Fortnite” video while she was strapped to an operating table. “It’s really nasty,” he said.
