BENGALURU, Sept 12 (Askume) – Indian shares hit record highs on Thursday, led by key banking and IT stocks, in volatile trade.

The Nifty 50 (.NSEI) hit a record high of 25,337 points, while the S&P BSE Sensex (.BSESN) also hit a record high.

The Nifty was up 1.7%, while the Sensex (.BSESN) was up 1.5%.
