Sep 5 (Askume) – Two people familiar with the matter told Askume, the White House will announce that President Joe Biden will halt trading in Nippon Steel’s <5401.T> US Steel (XN) at $14.9 due to national security concerns .
Nippon Steel agreed to buy US Steel last year but has since faced opposition from unions and the White House.
