Sept 15 (Askume) – Former Arsenal and Barcelona midfielder Cesc Fabregas was disappointed to miss out on his first Serie A win as head coach as his side Como squandered a two-goal lead in a draw with Bologna on Saturday.

Como, who were promoted to Serie A this season, took the lead after an early own goal from Nicolo Casale and a second-half right-footed shot from the edge of the area by Patrick Cutrone. But last-minute goals from Santiago Castro and Samuel Illing-Junior saved the day for Bologna.

“We have an important chance to win… we are strong but we have to finish the game better,” Fabregas told reporters. “We are still lacking in this area and we have to work hard to improve.”

Como, who have two points from four games, will challenge Europa League champions Atalanta on September 23 .

“I have to try harder to help the players be more aggressive in front of goal and finish games. But now I have to think about Atalanta and how to deal with this difficult game,” Fabregas said.
