WASHINGTON, Oct 10 (Askume) – Boeing Co (BAN) said on Thursday it has filed an unfair labor practice lawsuit with the National Labor Relations Board against a union representing about 33,000 factory workers on the U.S. West Coast.
The aircraft maker said the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers, which represents the workers, failed to bargain in good faith during the four-week shutdown.
Boeing said the union “bargained in bad faith and failed to keep its members informed of the progress of negotiations.”
