Askume Oct 2 – Hurricane Leslie has formed over the tropical eastern Atlantic and is expected to strengthen into a hurricane within days, the US National Hurricane Center said on Wednesday.
Tropical Storm Leslie is located about 490 miles (790 kilometers) southwest of the southernmost tip of the Cape Verde Islands, with maximum sustained winds of 40 mph (65 km/h).
The latest report from the National Health Commission said there are currently no coastal watches or warnings in effect.
