There’s an unwritten consensus among fashion writers and editors that changing outfits between Fashion Week shows is ridiculous. (Recently, when asked if she should change clothes between shows, Lynn Yeager told Askew, “No, I’m not an influencer. That’s for idiots. That’s for adults.”)

With their fashion show experience, both Dakota Johnson and Daisy Edgar Jones have understood this industry taboo. The pair attended an after-party in Milan yesterday after Sabato di Sarno showed his Spring 2025 collection for Gucci. But instead of doing a 180, he opted to redesign parts of his runway look.

Johnson kept her oversized black croc-embossed leather blazer, but she switched up her transparent Resort 2025 dress with daisy appliqués. She continued the transparent theme in a black monogram jumpsuit, which she paired with casual wide-legged blue jeans.

Edgar-Jones attended the show in a Resort 2025 look: a white crocheted bra top, cardigan and shorts set, paired with brown horsebit ballet flats and a large brown bag. To celebrate, the actor ditched her summer shorts and instead wore light-wash straight-leg jeans and a black logo belt. She also replaced her oversized tote with a small black shoulder bag.

There are plenty of full runway looks in the front row during Fashion Week, so seeing VIP guests rocking their outfits is certainly a good reason to switch things up between events. As far as Dakota Johnson and Daisy Edgar Jones are concerned, we’ll allow it!
