There were two parties worth covering during Paris Fashion Week: Rosalía’s 32nd birthday party at the Hôtel Particulier in Montmartre (with Gigi Hadid, Kendall Jenner and Kylie Jenner celebrating with nearly everyone in the audience as brand ambassadors), and Miu Miu’s Spring 2025 dinner on the last night of Paris Fashion Week (with Cara Delevingne, Alexa Chung and little Sims celebrating with nearly everyone in the audience as brand ambassadors).
Of course, the best-dressed guest was stylist Lotta Volkova, who had a weird Miu Miu half-stocking on one toe that looked like a Spring 2024 Band-Aid. It’s also fun to see Nicole Kidman posing in a schoolgirl outfit with her 16-year-old daughter, Sunday Rose Kidman-Urban. The actor has spent the last six months launching her first-born child into the fashion world: first as an extra for Balenciaga’s Fall 2024 Haute Couture show, and then as the face of Omega for blanket activities during the Paris Olympics.
Kidman-Urban made her debut this week at the designer’s Spring 2025 show in a poplin skirt suit and open-toe pumps, symbolizing Miu Miu’s unique ability to turn the next generation of nepo babies into real-life models, including Esther McGregor, Zaya Wade, Ella Emhoff and Elliot Sumner (remember, it was Mrs. Prada who first showcased Lila Moss on the runway at Milan Fashion Week Spring 2021, when she turned 18 just days later.) I think mom will be Nicole Kidman next season. She looks great in a schoolgirl skirt.
