Every season, Roger Vivier stages a mesmerizing fashion show in Paris that blends fashion with performance, artistic craftsmanship, and a slew of celebrities. So on a chilly Friday in Paris, the brand took over the Hotel de Boisgelin and launched a garden-themed collection that included golden palm trees and rococo chandeliers, as well as suede crystal-covered kitten heels and extravagant volumes.
“This season, the whole world is very, very uncertain,” said Gerardo Felloni Roger Vivier, creative director of the Spring 2025 collection. “It’s a really strange time. I want to go in and do something I really enjoy that makes me feel safe and comfortable.”
For the exhibition titled “Jardin à la Vivier”, Felloni draws inspiration from all aspects and angles of the garden and its flowers, decorating the entire site with a kaleidoscopic depiction of the garden’s greenery, complemented by shoes, bags and jewelry in pastel colors. Roger Vivier’s signature styles also receive a seasonal makeover, including woven wicker, canvas and raffia. The brand also launched the Belle Vivier bag, a day bag inspired by accessories from the 1930s, and reinvented Belle in a new ballet slipper shoe worn by Catherine Deneuve in Belle de Jour (1967). “The theme of this collection is very simple,” Filoni said with a smile. “It’s very simple, I think right now for everyone, especially designers, I think the right choice is to focus on what we really like and what we really like and to reinvent and strengthen what we believe in. It’s a great start to next season.
In addition to well-heeled customers and luxury footwear enthusiasts wearing pastel and crystal Vivier shoes, Eva Green, Laetitia Casta, Nicola Peltz and Nicola Peltz Beckham, Anna Cleveland, Pat Cleveland, Ines de la Fressange and Victoria Justice posed for photos on Instagram.
