PARIS, Sept 27 (Askume) – Victoria Beckham showed a series of minimalist dresses and deconstructed tailoring at a runway show in the suburbs of Paris to showcase the spring/summer collection of her eponymous label.
After dark, models emerged from a neoclassical palace in the vast Boulogne gardens, their skirts flowing behind them. The audience sat under a clear plastic tent on the patio, with blankets on each seat, and rows of candles flickered beneath a nearby sphinx statue.
The model wore an off-shoulder crop top and an asymmetrical dress, along with slightly loose trousers that accentuated the silhouette and pleated fabric.
The show takes place during Paris Fashion Week, which runs until October 1.
The city hosts dozens of fashion shows, from small emerging brands to established names like LVMH (LVMHPA) Dior and Louis Vuitton, Kering (PRTPA) brands Yves Saint Laurent and Balenciaga, as well as Chanel and Hermès.
