HOUSTON, Sept 12 (Askume) – Major U.S. ports such as Brownsville and Corpus Christi have reopened and are operating without restrictions after Hurricane Francine passed through the interior of Louisiana on Thursday.

The Port of Brownsville near the Mexican border and other smaller terminals in Texas were closed on Monday ahead of Francine, while Corpus Christi was still operating but with restrictions.
