Sept 10 (Askume) – UPS (UPS.N) said on Tuesday it will acquire German healthcare logistics company Frigo-Trans for an undisclosed sum to strengthen its healthcare cold chain facilities in Europe.

    UPS said the Frigo-Trans network includes temperature-controlled storage and freight forwarding capabilities as well as pan-European cold chain transportation solutions.

    Under the deal, UPS will also acquire BPL, a subsidiary of Frigo-Trans. The package delivery company said the deal is expected to be completed in the first quarter of 2025.
