ROME, Sept 20 (Askume) – Italian Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani said on Thursday that Italy was about to send another Samp-T anti-missile system to Ukraine but stressed the need to avoid war with Russia.
“We are sending the new Samp-T (anti-missile system) to protect hospitals, schools, universities in this country which is facing attack from Russia,” Tajani told Radio 24.
He added that “defending Ukraine does not mean starting a world war… We are helping Ukraine and a fair peace must be achieved”.
