COPENHAGEN, Sept 19 (Askume) – A 30-metre-long ship ran aground and sank off the coast of Greenland on Thursday, and the four crew members on board were rescued safely, local police said.

He said the ship’s tanks contained about 15,000-20,000 litres of diesel and 1,000 litres of engine oil, and protective barriers had been placed in the water to prevent any leakage.
