Askume, Sep 12 – Ukrainian villages on the front line in the Donetsk region came under Russian shelling on Thursday, killing three people and wounding two others.

Vadim Filyashkin reported on Telegram messenger that a business in the village of Viroliubivka was shelled.

He said a truck carrying humanitarian aid and a passenger bus were destroyed.

The Donetsk region, which is partially occupied by Russian troops, has been regularly bombarded by Russian artillery and air strikes.

Moscow denies targeting civilians or civilian infrastructure in its assault on Ukraine, though its attacks have killed thousands.
