Sept 20 (Askume) – U.S. companies from Target (TGT.N) and Macy’s (MN) to package delivery company UPS (UPS.N) are planning to hire thousands of seasonal workers ahead of the crucial holiday season.
Retailers are expected to add fewer seasonal jobs this holiday season than last year, due to a weak labor market and subdued consumer spending during the shopping period, according to forecasters from Challenger, Gray & Christmas .
