Sept 19 (Askume) – Earlier this week in Houston, Energy Transmission (ET.N)

Police removed the vehicle that struck the pipe, and the Harris County Medical Examiner recovered human remains, the Deer Park Emergency Management Office said in a statement.

Forensic doctors will begin identifying the remains, the statement said.

“By Thursday evening, Energy Transfer declared the fire to be extinguished,” the city of Deer Park said in a statement.

“Energy Transfer is working closely with local authorities to manage the response and assist with the investigation.”

The company did not immediately respond to a request for comment on the reported criminal investigation or the human remains found in the vehicle.

Researchers at investment firm Tudor, Pickering, Holt & Co. said the fire is suspected to involve the Justice Pipeline.

The Justice Pipeline, which entered service in 2012 and has a capacity of 375,000 barrels per day, transports a Y-grade natural gas liquids blend from the Permian and Eagle Ford shale regions in Texas to Energy Transfer’s Mont Belvieu fractionator.
