Sept 15 (Askume) – Toflech Newell will not be available for next Saturday’s All Blacks Rugby Championship test match against Australia because of a calf injury, New Zealand Rugby said on Sunday.
Newell, who replaced Tyrell Lomax in the 18-12 loss to South Africa in Cape Town last week, was injured.
Ethan de Groot and George Ball have been called up for the Sydney Test as both teams look to arrest recent disappointing results.
New Zealand have lost three of their last four matches, including consecutive defeats against South Africa, and are bottom of the Australia Rugby Championship standings.
