Texas’ David Robertson retired the batters in the eighth inning, then Kirby Yates did the same in the ninth to earn his 31st save of the season.

The Rangers (73-79) notched their second consecutive win with a 13-run, 13-hit outburst in Tuesday’s series opener. Garcia, who had two hits and three runs in the previous game, had one of his team’s five hits on Wednesday.
