September 28 – Carson Kelly completed a three-game winning streak for the Texas Rangers on Friday night when they lost 5–2 in Anaheim, Calif. Defeating the Los Angeles Angels set the stage for the two teams’ final series of the year.
Kelly got a single in the second inning, a home run in the fourth inning, a double in the sixth inning, and one out in the ninth inning. The three-hit game was Kelly’s fifth of the season and his first since August 11.
