Sept 12 (Askume) – Afghanistan allrounder Rashid Khan will recover from a back injury and play in this month’s three-match ODI series against South Africa, the cricket board said, while batsman Ibrahim Zadran is absent because of an ankle sprain.

Sweat QuiltIndia’s match in Greater Noida, ruled out for the fourth consecutive day due to rain, was washed out ahead of this week’s one-off Test against New Zealand .

ACB said that bowler Naveed Zadran, who was ruled out of the Test match against New Zealand due to a side strain, has also returned to the team.

Afghanistan, who are playing home matches abroad, will host the ODIs against South Africa on September 18, 20 and 22 at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium in the United Arab Emirates.
