CHENNAI, India, Sept 20 (Askume) – Bangladesh replied to India’s first innings score of 376 by making 149 runs on the second day of play in Chennai on Friday.
Tour debutants Shakib Al Hasan (32) and Mehidy Hasan Miraz (27 not out) offered some resistance with the bat but India lead comfortably by 227 runs.
Among the Indian bowlers, Jasprit Bumrah was the pick of the Indian bowlers with figures of 4-50, while Akash Deep, Ravindra Jadeja and Mohammed Siraj took two wickets each.
