Sept 28 (Askume) – Two-time Olympic champion Remco Evanpoel said he has no plans to leave Soudal-Quick amid speculation he may move to Red Bull Bora-Hansgrohe.

Belgian athlete Ivan Napor, who won gold medals in the men’s road race and time trial at this year’s Paris Olympics, has a contract with the Belgian Soudal-Quick Step team until the end of 2026.

“I will stay where I am, that’s very clear,” 2022 Vuelta Espana champion Ivan Nappel told reporters on Friday. “No transfer.”

“As usual there is speculation and I think there is more information out there than I know, which seems strange, but nothing has changed,” he told Cycling News.

“I will be with my (Soudal-QuickStep) teammates. We will work and fight for the biggest goal, which is to win the Tour de France one day.”

The 24-year-old defended her world road time trial title at the world championships in Zurich, Switzerland on Sunday .
