Sept. 10—The Calgary Flames signed free agent defenceman Jarred Tinordi to a one-year contract on Tuesday.

It’s a two-way deal for the 32-year-old veteran, who is worth $800,000 at the NHL level.

Tinordi appeared in 52 games with the Chicago Blackhawks in the 2023–24 season, recording nine assists and 64 penalty minutes.

He played 205 games for 6 teams over 9 seasons, earning 30 points (4 goals, 26 assists) and 234 penalty minutes.

Tinordi was selected by the Montreal Canadiens with the 22nd overall pick in the 2010 NHL Draft.
