September 13 – Former Bellator Welterweight Champion Jaroslav Amosov announced on Friday that his contract with the promotion had expired.

“My contract with Bellator is over, it was a great time!” Amosov posted on X.

However, Amosov wrote on Instagram that his story doesn’t end there. In fact, the 31-year-old Ukrainian mentioned a potential move to the Octagon and the UFC in his post.

“This is not the finish line, it’s a new beginning,” Amosov wrote in Russian, which Instagram translated into English.

“New horizons and peaks lie ahead. My journey continues and I am grateful to everyone who has been there, those who have supported and those who have doubted.

“The story doesn’t end, it just changes direction. See you in the Octagon.”

Amosov won his first eight Bellator matches before losing to Jason Jackson by third-round knockout in the main event of Bellator 301 in Chicago last November. His overall record is 27-1.
