Sept 12 (Askume ) – Microsoft-backed OpenAI said on Thursday it is launching a series of artificial intelligence models designed to solve tough problems that take longer to process.
The artificial intelligence company says the models, known as O1 and O1-mini, can reason about complex tasks and solve more difficult problems than previous scientific, coding and mathematical models.
o1 will be available in ChatGPT and its API starting Thursday.
OpenAI said: “We train these models to spend more time thinking about problems before reacting; through training, they learn to refine their thought processes, try different strategies, and recognize their mistakes.
