Askume, Oct 8 – The U.S. Justice Department said on Tuesday it is considering asking a judge to force Alphabet Inc.
The Justice Department’s sweeping proposal is the next step in a landmark case that has the potential to reshape the way Americans find information on the Internet, after a judge found that Google, which handles 90% of U.S. Internet searches, had established an illegal monopoly.
Prosecutors are expected to submit a more detailed proposal to the court by November 20.
