We don’t have a reliable English equivalent of “je ne sais quoi” yet, but if there was, Dakota Johnson would have it. The actor’s gorgeous hair, natural good nature and extremely inspiring sleeping habits are just some of the things we admire about her.

Second? Her dedicated attitude toward fitness. While preparing for her recent role as Cassie in the Marvel film Madame Web, Johnson was “more disciplined and working out,” she shared. “In my normal life, if I want to skip a day or two, I’ll take it easy. But in preparation for Mrs. Weber, I try to stay as diligent as possible with my workout plan.”

That meant turning to a COVID-era discovery: Sculpt Society, the online fitness streaming platform. “At the beginning of the pandemic, I searched far and wide to find workouts that suited my taste and body — and then I was drawn to Meghan,” Johnson said.

Sculpture Society founder Megan Raup (who also trains Miranda Kerr and Molly Sims) designed a training program for Johnson that focused on stamina and strength. “I had a long shoot and a lot of high-intensity scenes,” Johnson said. “So I want to make sure that while I’m still strong and agile, I can stay physically strong for such a long time.”

Now, you can do the same abs-clearing routine at home in the comfort of your living room (or wherever you prefer). “People can check out our Spicy in 30 Minutes or Advanced shows to find out what Dakota is really up to,” Raup said. “However, if you’re a beginner, I would recommend our Beginner program which is a little slower paced and lower impact and is a great way to improve your technique if you’re new to the style. If time is tight, I recommend the Quickie plan, which features workouts that last no longer than 20 minutes.”

Even in the post-dotcom era, Johnson remains a fan of Sculpture Society Burns. “Megan creates nice burns in parts of the body that I didn’t know could be adjusted,” she says. “It was a good kind of pain—a bad pain.”
