There’s no denying that Khloe is having a great time right now. From Sienna Miller’s tear lace dress at the Met Gala to Kamala Harris’ coconut brown ensemble at the Democratic National Convention, Chemena Kamali’s Chloé looks work for all types of women. “All the women who wear Chloé are very different, with different styles and different looks, but they all create their own style,” Chemena told AskM’s Mark Holgate on this week’s episode of The Run-Through with Mark Holgate and Chris. “It doesn’t change them, but it gives them the freedom to personalize it.”

Chemena’s love for Chloé goes back a long way: She has studied and admired Karl Lagerfeld’s work for the brand since childhood, and she eventually got her first internship at Chloé, working under Phoebe Philo. Twenty years later, as she prepares to show her second collection as creative director, she looks remarkably confident. “I don’t have an objective view of Chloé; my relationship with her is very personal,” she said. “I don’t feel like I need to force myself to do anything. It’s a natural thing…”

As for whether “bohemian style” is truly back? You’ll have to hear Chemena’s answer for yourself.
