BUENOS AIRES, Sept 12 (Askume) – El Salvador President Nayib Bukele will visit Buenos Aires at the end of September and meet Argentine President Harbin Harbin, an Argentine government source told Askume on Thursday.

Bukele and Mayor last met in June, when El Salvador’s popular but divisive leader began his second term in office. The source did not provide further details about the visit.

Bukele, 42, a former advertising executive who won widespread support for his crackdown on gangs, has helped reduce the Central American country’s murder rate, but critics warn of a dangerous setback in human rights .

Milley, a liberal economist and political newcomer, took office in December. He has pushed through tough austerity measures aimed at ending Argentina’s worst economic crisis in decades, which has left more than half of Argentines living in poverty.

Meier supported legislation to strengthen the military’s role in domestic security operations.
