Luke LONDON, September 10 – Britain on Tuesday announced a series of new sanctions, including seven new sanctions in its Iran sanctions regime and three new sanctions in its Russia sanctions regime.
The sanctions also include companies and organisations related to the Russian and Iranian drone industries.
This news comes after US Secretary of State Antony Blinken said that Russia has received ballistic missiles from Iran and could use them in Ukraine within a few weeks.
Making the announcement during a visit to the UK, Blinken also said that the United States would also impose new sanctions on other airlines, including Iran Air.
France, Germany and the United Kingdom strongly condemned Iran’s transfer of ballistic missiles to Russia and said they would take immediate steps to cancel bilateral air services agreements with Iran. They also called on Tehran to immediately stop everything that would involve Russia in the war with Ukraine.
