BEIJING, Sept 11 (Askume) – China’s State Council said on Wednesday it will issue specific guidance to strengthen insurance industry supervision and curb risks in the insurance industry.
This comprehensive measure will ensure strict approval of newly established insurance institutions and improve the overall quality of insurance institutions.
It will support qualified enterprises to participate in the reform of insurance institutions to resolve risks, and support qualified foreign-funded insurance institutions in setting up legal entities and branches in China, the statement said.
