WASHINGTON, Sept 21 (Askume) – U.S. President Joe Biden and Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida discussed the need for diplomacy with China and an end to “coercion and destabilization” in the South China Sea at the Quad leaders’ summit, the White House said on Saturday. Elmington also discussed their shared concerns about “activity” in the South China Sea.

Biden and Kishida reaffirmed their commitment to maintaining peace in the Taiwan Strait and to the development and security of technologies such as artificial intelligence and semiconductors, the White House said.
